Guess who is on the cover of SAHDA?!? Your very own Kesavah made it on the cover for the December 2009 newsletter of the Middle Eastern Dance Association (MEDA), but I must admit that it wasn’t for any reason other than my being the winner of a recent draw they had. But still! What fun!
For those of you that aren’t familiar with MEDA it is an excellent non-profit organization dedicated to bellydance. If you become a member you will receive loads of privileges such as:
- Access to the MEDA library
- Discounts of MEDA workshops
- A year’s subscription to SAHDA, the monthly newsletter
- A listing in the September and January Teacher’s Directory in SAHDA
- A listing in the directory for professional dancers and troupes in SAHDA
- Inclusion on the MEDA website and Gallery Page
They also have a Grande Bazaar in Vancouver every year with shows, workshops, and lots and lots of goodies to buy! This year’s bazaar is on Saturday March 27th & Sunday March 28th, 2010.
